This past Friday I had to do one of the most painful things of my whole life. Sadly, my sweet, faithful Abigail is no longer with us. She was with us for thirteen years, but that wasn’t nearly long enough. Abby was the best dog I ever had, no offense to the many others, but it is so very true. Not only was she the best dog I ever had, but she was the most intelligent, by far… well maybe Ralph was up there with her.
The only solace I have in my misery is knowing that poor Abby is no longer suffering. That is worth my shed tears.
Farewell, Abby. You will be missed.
